Note from the Ornery Old Lady on her Dad's Birthday

Today would have been my father's 83rd birthday. He passed away on November 28, 2010, from congestive heart failure and other cardiovascular complications. He had a major hemorrhagic stroke on June 4, 2004, which radically altered the course of his life thereafter. He became more greatly physically impaired following several smaller strokes and developed vascular dementia.

He is very much missed, although those who loved him were greatly relieved when his many years of struggle finally came to an end.

Stroke is no joke.
